<div>I have 3 rogue tomato plants that popped up in my garden this year, 1 was in an old container that didn’t even have tomatoes in it last year. Couldn’t figure out what they were but I nursed them all just the same. Put 2 and 2 together later. Think they were offspring from a Super Sweet 100 that I grew in a different spot last year. It was a hybrid. They look just like the one from last year but dwarfed, plants and the tomatoes. Good enough for snacking though. </div>

The one from last year was the only tomato that I planted from seed to survive and it did pretty well and the tomatoes were actually sweet. One of my better plants all the way to October. Bought the one for this year as a plant and the tomatoes aren’t all that to brag about. Just taste like a regular cherry tomato. Already looking kinda rough too. Last year virtually tripled output when the weather cooled. This years might not even make it that far.

I agree with the hybrid theory. If you were replanting seeds from previous year it could be something like that if they were a hybrid. Same plant just dwarfed fruit.
