I’ve ordered from several of the places listed in this thread over the years, but didn’t see a few companies I’ve also had good results with, so I’ll toss them and a few others that I have catalogs from (but have no direct experience with yet) into the ring for anyone who wants to check them out:

MIGardener (dot com). They’re a great inexpensive source and their selection has grown every year and even includes live plants (berries, asparagus and more). They finally raised their seed price from $1/packet to $2/packet this year, but it’s still a good deal because you get approximately the same amount of seeds that you would from the more expensive places, and the shipping is free for orders of $12 and up; they’re a family/Christian-owned small business. Seeds ‘n Such is one I came across this past year and their catalog has had a couple of things that were hard to find elsewhere (they have one of the larger selections of nasturtium varieties I’ve found). <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>FastGrowingTrees (dot com); I ordered my mango trees from them and they were high quality trees that were exceptionally well packaged. WellSpringGardens (dot com), has good quality live plants; they’re a little pricey and the selection changes seasonally. StrictlyMedicinalSeeds (dot com) has a great selection including some unusual items and live plants. <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Gurneys (dot com), is pricey, but the quality is usually good.

Then there’s <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>AnniesAnnuals (dot com), and I think their catalog is set up by categories like pollinators, native plants and others, etc. TheStoutBrothers (dot com) has been mentioned by a couple of YT homesteaders, but I haven’t ordered anything from them. I think they mostly sell trees, and ship nationwide. <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color); background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color);”>Logees (dot com), <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color); background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color);”>FarmerSeed (dot com), <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color); background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color);”>4SeasonsNurseries (dot com), and <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color); background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color);”>eBurgess (dot com); I was not impressed with the one order I did with them, but could be due to my geography/zone? They have some unusual items that I hadn’t seen elsewhere, and I’ve been tempted to try them one more time, but what I ordered was not particularly well packaged and the live plant quality was not nearly as good as some other places I’ve done business with (their supplies were okay and reasonably prices). If you try them out be sure to keep the packaging the order arrives in because that is the key to getting a refund, replacement or doing a return. Read the fine print. I wasn’t impressed with their business practices, so let the buyer beware.

<font color=”rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)” face=”inherit”>I would like to start collecting a variety of holiday and Christmas blooming cactus plants. If anyone here knows a good </font>source<font color=”rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)” face=”inherit”>, please let me know. Burgess is one of the companies that advertises at least four or five different colors in their catalog, but I’m hesitant to try them again and hope to find another source that’s recommended by someone directly. Thanks.</font>
