I’ve had good experiences with hoss tools and true leaf market. Every year I get sucked in by seeds n such because they have low prices but the last few orders they have taken weeks before shipping out my seeds. This last order is a month old and still not shipped. Small seed suppliers get overwhelmed and can get pretty far behind. But hoss and true leaf have been reliably good customer service.

😆 That’s what happens to me. I circle everything I want, run a total cost, then start marking off the things I don’t need.

I grow herbs inter-planted with my other greens and try to add something new or even unusual every year. So far I have traditional sage, pineapple sage (which was new this year and I’m delighted that it has bloomed in fall and now so far into winter, which has drawn hummingbirds, and I try to keep plants they will benefit from, and didn’t know it would bloom when most everything else was gone, except my nasturtiums), rosemary, thyme, dill, lemon balm, stinging nettle, lime balm, spearmint (had peppermint in the past too, but prefer the other), garlic chives, regular chives and maybe be forgetting a few others. I think I will try the toothache plant this spring. I’m planning on adding yarrow then as well (in pots). If I had more room I would like to have others. Any suggestions for herbs that would do well in grow bags or containers are welcome. I am out of room in my limited raised bed space.

Thanks for the suggestions. I bought some plantain seeds a while back. I should try it this time too. Thanks for reminding me of it. I tried growing purslane two or three times here, but could never get it started. Maybe need to keep doing it in different locations till I find the right spot. My elephant food plant has done really well in a pot (supposed to be one of the highest omega 3 plant sources). I’ll check out those videos when I get time. Thanks!
