What’s your best tried and true water hose? I am tired of water hoses that kink and leak despite being “commercial” grade. We use several water hose at this time – working on resolving that. Lol. So what do you use and where did you get it? Thanks!!!

I have found Speculite stainless steel water hoses fit the bill. I have checked with some other gardeners and that is what they use. Can be ordered from Amazon. Made in China is only drawback. Light weight and do not kink.

These are the only only ones we use. Gilmour Pro Commercial Hose 3/4 Inch. Wasted too much money on others over the years. These are the only water hoses I’ll use now.

I love the yellow flexible hoses from Harbor Frieght. They are light, so easy to move around, don’t kink. Unfortunately I don’t know the name brand.

Swan use to sell these great pink 3/4 inch 100 foot construction grade hoses. I had several last over 30 years. Sadly the last one died a hard death a few years ago when it got munched by the bush hog!

They looked much like the one posted above.

Seems the more expensive they are, the longer they last. I also like storing mine in larger loops layed flat, instead of hanging, to prevent linking. I scared a couple friends who thought I had a hibernating nest of snakes in the back of the shed🤣

I’ve been using NeverKink hoses for years and have a lot of them. They are my favorite, last forever (my oldest one is now 20 years old and has never leaked or had a single issue) and are great. Other than they can startle people because the coloring does look a little bit like a snake. 🙂 I never buy anything else. Our local hardware and feed stores both sell them.

I switched to black poly pipe 1 inch. It holds up to the sun. I use it for the long runs, then i switch to garden hose where I need something flexable.

I, too got fed up with the lousy quality of hose. I eventually asked a nursery what hose their staff used, and they pointed me to a commercial grade hose. It cost me an extra $15 but I have never regretted it, because it WORKS!!!!!!!!
