Does anyone know if you cut it back to the ground in the winter?

I found this on gardenershq.com. Note that they can be hardy annuals, hardy biennials, or perennials – so the answer might become “it depends”. (and I’m having trouble getting the ‘photo’ to add, so we’ll see)

A few Christmas errands here too, plus making jerky for our Christmas gathering. Hope you & yours are safe & joyous!

Mine dies back to the ground every year and grows back in spring. I never cut it back, but it’s out of the way
