Maybe I’m not the only one, but I’m always a little late planting and sowing because I can never realy remember when to plant what. Ever so often, I start digging and reading the back of the seed package to keep me on track, but I find it laborious and time consuming.

Some time ago, I watched a video from Dough and Stacy (I think 😬) when they talked about Clyde’s Garden Planner and, tada , today it came in the mail.

Now, I can check at any time at what I can plant/sow right now, go to my seed stash, pull out the seeds and be done with it. No more going through the whole box reading the back of every package. 👍😃

This might also help a lot of beginners to gardening.

The address and where to get one of Clyde’s Garden Planner is on the planting guide.

I purchased one last fall .This is the 1st time I’m using it. Makes life simple! I also have a larger erasable yearly calendar . I write down dates sowed & expected dates for harvest.

An erasable yearly calendar, that’s a great idea . 💡 Anything that helps to keep track of everything to keep your brain free for other thought projects. 👍

I love Clyde’s planner. I give them as gifts to friends and family that are new to gardening. This year I’m using a journal.

I’d love to hear what others are using this year to help track their garden progress.

My problem is I get started fine but as the season goes on in the middle of summer I get so busy with other stuff, I neglect to take the time to write my garden notes. I’m committed this year to do better on that. I thought a written journal might help. 🙂

I actually got a second one just to have as a backup, other than that, I drew a sketch of my garden and copy it for each new season to record what I planted where. It also lets me see what I planted where last year so not to plant the same in the same place. I also track which box I fertilized it with manure.
