I’m sorry if I am not supposed to ask questions here. Can I can, or freeze green beans or butternut squash after an unexpected frost this morning ? Or did I loose it all because of the frost? thank you.

You sure can freeze or can those veggies. Just blanch your beans before freezing. Butternut is better after the frost and can be stored all winter, just keep afew inches of stem on. Im in upstate ny and expecting frost tonight, but not a hard freeze.

Thank you so much for your reply. It’s 29 degrees at 5 am. in Northern Indiana this morning. Tomorrow afternoon it is forecast to be 71 degrees.
