ðŸ¤Ground Cherries in bed with Sweet Potatoes?
Some of you might have seen I have some Tarter Troughs I grow in because of a massive VOLE problem. It occured to me that they are the perfect height for ground cherries so I wouldnt have to bend over to get them. But I LOVE how sweet potatos look spilling over the edges. Ground cherries dont seem to have many pest or disease issues, which is really the only reason you shouldnt put tomatos by sweet potatos so Im thinking, scratch that, Im going to go ahead and do it. Im going to be a rebel gardener and put ground cherries in with sweet potatoes. Has anyone else done this? Put sweet potatoes with Ground cherries in the same bed. Not really needing advice per se, since Im going to do it anyway. Just excited about planning next years garden and nobody to share the excitement with LOL

I haven’t tried it but it sounds like it’s worth trying. Let us know how it goes.

😀 Thank You DB1, I will. I was watching someones video yesterday and they had tomatoes volunteer in a sweet potato bed so I am thinking its going to be fine.
