Definitely plant some and save some. I never plant all my seeds regardless because I never know what I will encounter each season. But if you don’t plant any there is no possibility of them to multiply and give a harvest. Not sure they will be of much use to you in a jar.
You might get in touch with http://www.SeedTreasures.com They grow out family heirlooms. You might consider sending a few to them and they can keep it going.
