In Southwestern Michigan the temps got down to -15 wind chill. We’re not far from Lake Michigan and it’s been snowing almost non stop since Wednesday night, we’ve gotten between 2 and 3 feet.
We covered the chicken coop with plastic to help keep the extreme winds at bay. They’re refusing to come out of the hen house, so we stuck their food and water up there. We’re checking on them and their water regularly and they seem to be taking it all in stride. They’re warm and clucking happily.
