    Popsicle here. Quail looking good and not huddled. Eggs all frozen and cracked when I collected them. About 15 below wind-chill and getting colder. 8 degrees at 11.am. Headed to cardiologist. Lots of tests to do. Ugh. No one on the roads hardly even the busy ones. People got the 4 lanes to themselves on a big road where the doctor was. A good thing in case a spin and saw slipping.

    Got piles of wood in the house and staying nice and warm. Cats under covers. Had one sneak out and raced back in. Tried to break free. Not here. Too many predators.
