Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil. 4:8 KJV

I just left a job where I was bullied for over a year and management refused to do anything to help, because in her words I was a “Jesus freak” I know that doesn’t sound positive but…wait for it. I finally went to talk to a previous employer about a job and walked out with a full time job, making double what that job was paying, with a bonus of the exact amount of money needed to have my well installed, and I get to work 3 12 hour shifts a week. That all means I can now have the time and money to focus on my homestead and woodworking. Only God can turn evil into blessings. Come on folks, post those blessings so we can encourage one another.

From the slavery of Egypt, to the promised land! Been there, done that, God has a way of taking Joseph from prison to the leader of Egypt, it is just the way He works….

    Congrats on the new job!

The movie: “Jesus Revolution” is worth the watch! Especially, if you were alive in the 1960’s – 1980’s.

I was bit by a tick, where’s the blessing in that? I was one of the 10% that gets an immediate reaction and showed the bullseye within a week. (Probably got bit Monday a couple weeks ago, found the tick on the Friday, bullseye on Sunday morning).

My doctor trusts me enough to have some antibiotics on hand in case I can’t get to her. It just so happened to be the exact one I needed for this, so I was able to start antibiotics immediately when we removed the tick. Plus, it’s NOT one of those ticks that makes you allergic to red meat, so we’re celebrating with steak tonight 😁

Despite it all and a minor freak out, I’m feeling pretty blessed and cared for. God is good!

Middle son also has said he will cook the steaks on the grill and help me with mowing the yard this summer 😉. Now if I can just get the youngest boy to come by and do the trimming I’ll be good. I may even just let the boys deal with the lawn all summer. 😎

Sometimes when it’s a severe reaction antibiotics won’t work. God bless and good luck to you. Also enjoy the steaks while you can still get or afford them.🥩
