Looking to get a meet ups started to share Ideas, skills and information but it is hard to know who is near you when no one puts even a general location in their profile. Are you all having the same problem? I know in these times we must be private or risk being hunted down by the alphabets but it seems you have to put a little out there in order to have a community of like minded people. Your thoughts?

Aye, the rub indeed. How much info to put out there. You’ll note by my profile that I put about as much as you and mebbe a little more. Thing is even within the community you might end up not wanting to associate with certain preppers up close. We have our nuts too…and this is before we get to worrying about being scoped out by our gubment or harm causing lefties.
All that said I find relationship building takes a bit of time with which comes trust.

I agree for the most part, but I don’t want to waste time with people 5hr away except for virtual knowledge, SHTF people need to be a bit closer, at least 2 gal of gas or diesel close, LOL. Pinball, SPP1, Deep South and more put way more out there than us, we must come together like the opposition seems to and push us apart, like we are the nuts. Although I do avoid the people stocking bang things and no food and water, that is a clear indicator of their intent. 🇺🇲
