Suggestion For Notifications …
It would really help if the notification of a ‘reply’, etc. on a notification would actually take you to that comment instead of the beginning of the thread. Since comments can happen anywhere in the stream, it takes a while to even find some on a multi-page thread. It’s just too tempting to hit the ‘mark as read’ instead of spending time looking for a comment.

I just posted the same problem. What internet browser are you using if I may ask, I am using Chrome, I was not sure if I was the only one.
For me it takes you to the exact position of the discussion, then yanks you back to the start of the thread.
A work around is before you go there copy part of the text you see in the comment then search for it in the thread when you are at the start of the page…

I use the Mozilla ‘Firefox’ browser. It offers me more protection. Personally, I stay away from Chrome.

I use explorer and it happens to me too. I hate it. I seem to read and reread and then just give up looking by the time I find it or not.
